We know the challenges your business faces better than most internet sites.

As Edinburgh self caterers ourselves we know that advertising your Edinburgh property is a total minefield. There are so many websites to choose from, all with different structures and we are pretty sure that you will in the past have made the mistake of paying for at least one website which has brought you no bookings at all. (We have done this 3 times). Then there are the free websites which you spend ages uploading all your details only to never hear from them again. They are probably not local to Edinburgh and are only advertising your Edinburgh accommodation so they can appear to be a global company. Now add up the monetary cost of your time and also of any fees which you have paid for no returns. Where we are different is this:

We only deal in Edinburgh Accommodation and by this we mean primarily within the City Bypass but we do list properties within a 30 mile radius of Princes Street. This is because we have found that not everyone wants to stay within Edinburgh itself and prefer for example to hire a holiday cottage in the country but with easy access to the city centre.

Advertising with us is currently free. We will e mail (or call) every booking to you so you are only spending time dealing with live enquiries.

It is a condition of joining our site that we visit your Edinburgh accommodation. This allows us to meet you, understand your business fully and also be confident that we are offering our customers the most accurate representation of your Edinburgh property.

You still have total freedom to advertise wherever else you like. It is now rare that companies will make you advertise exclusively with them but there are some still out there. We feel that this is totally unacceptable - as an Edinburgh accommodation owner you need maximum exposure for your property to minimise your vacant periods. The intention of this site is to compliment your existing advertising channels and hopefully as time goes on you may not need as many other advertising partners.

We operate rotation on our site so that everyone can have the chance of being at the top of the page. We understand (particularly from a self catering point of view) that certain national sites can be very frustrating when it takes you 18 pages to find your property - nobody is going to look through 18 pages of accommodation. We also understand that there may be reasons you do not have a star rating and we point out to customers that just because a property doesn't have an official rating doesn't mean that it isn't high quality.
