manage your property -
We have been
renting Edinburgh
property for over 12
years
now and we know the
factors that are
important to you as a
property owner. A general
summary of our terms of
engagement are that we
will advertise your
property, find suitable
tenants, carry out
inspections, advise on
current legislation,
organise repairs and pay
rentals direct into your
bank account. Remember
we own property
ourselves and know that
the most important
factors are finding a
good tenant, ensuring
payments are made on
time and trying to get
the maximum occupancy
for your property.
Renting an Edinburgh
apartment from us long term (6
months or more)
- The type of deal we
offer you will depend on
the length of stay in
your chosen
accommodation. For long
term stays of 6 months
or more we will get you
to sign a short term
assured tenancy as well
as a government form
AT5. These are fairly
straightforward
documents but the main
points of them are that
you will look after the
property and that
you will be
liable for the lease for
at least 6 months.
It is very important
that you understand
this, as, if for example
you only stayed 1 month,
you would be still
liable for the remaining
5 months even if you did
not live in the
apartment. However, we
realise that sometimes
circumstances do change
and in the event of you
having to move out of
the apartment we will do
our utmost to re let the
apartment and therefore
minimise your financial
loss. If you see an
Edinburgh Apartment that
you wish to rent from
us, we will arrange an
appointment for you to
review the paperwork and
will explain all the
documents. You can take
them away for further
advice if you need to.
Renting a
holiday apartment from
us (short stays) -
You can book
our holiday apartments
by paying 10% of the
total price as a booking
deposit and the
remainder as per the
terms of the individual
premises concerned.
If you cancel
your holiday we will
refund your 10% deposit
in full (please let us
know as soon as
possible). You will need
to check with each
accommodation provider
about their policy for
cancellation. Please
note that for reservations
at 22 Dalry Road the deposit
is 25% of the total booking
