A great city base in one of the best locations.About the location - Situated in the Georgian New Town part of the world heritage area, you are surrounded by the Georgian architecture that Edinburgh is world famous for. Princes Street and all the central attractions are within walking distance or there are regular buses up Dundas Street (2-3 minutes to Princes Street). Guests can also join the water of Leith walkway only a few minutes away to explore the city further linking to Stockbridge (the village within the city) and the Dean and Modern art galleries beyond. There is a Tesco supermarket within walking distance and a local general store on Dundas Street even closer (2 minutes walk) About the apartment - This spacious apartment is accessed by a stair from street level which leads you to the patio garden which is filled with a selection of herbs which guests are free to use for cooking during their stay. As you open the front door you enter a welcoming spacious entry hall which also accommodates a dining area (just opposite the kitchen) which seats 6 people. In the lounge you will find plenty of comfortable seating and a real fire - ideal for evenings in. The apartment benefits from gas central heating throughout so if you prefer not to use the real fire you dont have to. There is a twin bedroom on this floor with a large wardrobe, sanded floors, a quiet outlook over the rear garden and believe it or not a valve radio - a nice touch giving the room an extra bit of atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, recessed griddle, dishwasher and a full range of cooking implements and crockery. The main bathroom has a bath, w.c, wash hand basin and over bath shower. On the ground floor there is also a separate w.c. There are 2 more bedrooms downstairs. The master bedroom has a double bed and en suite shower room (power shower) and also a walk in wardobe with enough room for even the biggest fashionista. The other bedroom has twin beds, another walk in wardobe and there is solid oak flooring throughout this level. Wifi broadband is included and a cot and high chair can be provided on request.
