About the location - If you are coming to Edinburgh to see a show then this could be the place for you. The Penthouse is located at the east end in the Bellevue/Leith Walk area at the top of Leith Walk. The Playhouse Theatre is very close (5 mins walk) and it is also easy to walk to the east end of Princes Street (10 mins walk) and Waverley station (12 mins). You can walk to the Royal Mile in around 15 minutes. The bars and restaurants of Broughton Street are also very close and if you choose to head west you can join the water of Leith walkway at Brandon Street and walk towards Stockbridge, the art galleries etc. The apartment is also convenient for visiting Ocean Terminal and the Royal Yacht Brittania - a bus from Leith Walk would only take 5 minutes to get there.
